ABOUT / METHOD
Permact is an evidence-first MT5 lab
The English edition of Permact focuses on one narrow job: helping MetaTrader 5 learners build, test, debug, and review Expert Advisors without mistaking a clean backtest for proof of future performance.
Editorial responsibility
Permact Research is an editorial byline, not a claim that the site is a licensed investment adviser, broker, tax professional, or other regulated adviser. The lab provides information and technical education, not personal recommendations.
A publication date represents the first public release of an article. An update date is used when a substantive explanation, source, or reader decision point changes; we do not refresh dates merely to make a page appear newer.
How a lab is prepared
Tutorials start from an inspectable MQL5 example and record the environment needed to reproduce the workflow: operating system, terminal build when known, broker server or data source, account mode, symbol, timeframe, date range, modeling choice, EA version, and Inputs. We check the Journal and execution behavior before interpreting performance statistics. We state a missing environment detail as a limitation rather than inventing it.
Sources, screenshots, and corrections
Platform behavior is checked against current MetaTrader and MQL5 documentation and against the interface shown in the article. Screenshots are explanatory evidence, not decoration. If a terminal update changes a label or workflow, readers can request a correction at contact@permact.com. Material corrections update the article date and the affected explanation.
AI-assisted editorial work
AI tools may help organize research, compare terminology, or review draft code. They do not replace the final technical review. Commands, code, links, risk statements, metadata, and English wording are reviewed before publication, and unverified build numbers or performance claims are not invented to make an article look more authoritative.
Commercial relationships
A tutorial is not a broker endorsement. Paid placement, sponsorship, affiliate compensation, or another material commercial relationship must be disclosed clearly on the relevant page. The English MT5 labs are broker-neutral and do not promise trading returns.
